Aum...Aum:

I've decide to feature KOAN Sound today because, a middle-aged geometry teacher interrupted my interesting conversation, on pheromones with long time buddy, Brittany Snow (the other one), and chimed in on his own anecdote about how his wife finds his odorous sweaty scent delightful. Then Brittany concurred that it's factual that women find men's sweat subconsciously arousing. For me, it's like a punch in the ugly mug when some rank fawn ambles by, sporting her en vogue damp zones and perspiration freckles.

Cue Faders, Go::

A digitally mystical experience comes in the shape of a musical creation by Mord Fustang, called Magic Trooper. Electro is it's might and the dyslexic-monikered artist is a sight to see and hear, live, front row left center. But if only I had used the restroom before, then I wouldn't be in such a predicament right now.

She's Katy Ka-Boom::

Man, it's a hot one today. But the ocean breeze is soothing in now and locals are gathering into their little nooks and crannies to view the fireworks show hosted by the city. Of course there will be music to accompany the visual spectacle and the city's music and fireworks consultant - if there is such a position - should add this doozy to the set list:

I'll Be Bach In A Minuet, Bruh::

I admire how people bring back the really 'ol skool jams of classical. The sounds used may not be tranquil and soothing but we trendsetters know how to contemporize the efforts to please our fast-cut-MTV-Generation ears. Of course, if Beethoven heard any of our throwbacks, he'd have a heart attack...

Why Is It On Monday::

Today is Independence Day Eve Eve and we should be remembering our founding fathers for the great effort they put forth into making this country a free state. Free from tyranny. Free from taxing our tea. Free from England. Eh, I take that back. We still have a corrupt government. California has the highest sales tax of any state. And even though we departed from England in 1776, we came crawling back to help the enemy fight in two World Wars and all we got was this stupid shirt that says, "Thanks for the help, have some fish 'n' chips."

But, it could've been worse. Aliens might have attacked us on Cinco de Mayo. Cringe...

So, what is Anti-Art::

So Dada Life was at EDC-LV last weekend. I told myself, since I'm listening to all this other music, I might as well give this Swedish duo a chance to wow me. Wow — spelled the same backwards as is forwards — I will reminisce about last weekend and enjoy what's to come. Here's another tally on my fave flaves list.

I'm On The Way::

So on the freeway, I witnessed a feat of playing drums with drumsticks on the steering wheel while going around 65-75mpb. You think somewhere out there some DJ has his dash set up so he could mix something together while in traffic? He has all his windows down, speakers up, and...

Netherlands Can Wait::

Today we're uninstalling the old doorbell system at my house, after the previous machine unexpectedly had an incident with a well-thrown spiraled football. The caveat though is that I've yet to find a doorbell that is pleasant sounding yet unique and coveted by guests and prospectors who push their greasy thumbs up against that tempting white plastic button. Then, while licking a 9-volt, I came to my senses. I've left a message on my good friend R3hab's voicemail, asking him to create me something quick and mega. When he's done with EDC-LV this weekend, I'm sure he'll come visit and conjure a good house sound for us.

Dancing Is Mandatory::

On the kineticFIELD stage is a frighteningly amazing act in Sander Van Doorn to help scare your senses awake because you should realize you're in the heat of Sin City. Bright skies. Humidity. Burning concrete. 360º of un-Sure-nose-flairing-odored body heat. Luckily everything starts at sundown, so scratch off: Bright Skies. See you there?

George, What's An MP3::

I borrowed my friend's iPod today and was listening to the album Wolfgang Gartner Presents: Electric Daisy Carnival Vol.2 and was really impressed at the compilation selection, especially, the combo Gartner and will.i.am Forever track. I told my friend I was enjoying this track and she delighted to show me the new Tom Staar remix of the song. I find it amazing how remixes come out so fast. Wouldn't it be stupendously amazing if a remix came out first then someone decided to do it's original. Hmm...I wonder how that would work?...Great Scott, Marty!
