George, What's An MP3::

I borrowed my friend's iPod today and was listening to the album Wolfgang Gartner Presents: Electric Daisy Carnival Vol.2 and was really impressed at the compilation selection, especially, the combo Gartner and will.i.am Forever track. I told my friend I was enjoying this track and she delighted to show me the new Tom Staar remix of the song. I find it amazing how remixes come out so fast. Wouldn't it be stupendously amazing if a remix came out first then someone decided to do it's original. Hmm...I wonder how that would work?...Great Scott, Marty!

Give A Hoot::

Owl Vision gives us a new remix called Nebulas, by Vengeance. So I'm wondering, what is the process of how these artists create such intricate designs of electronica. How do they begin? Do they go with the flow or have a blueprint made up in their mind? Perhaps it's better just to enjoy the end product.

Paper Beats Rock::

You ever get that feel-good tingling sensation? Like when you open up a gift and it's something you've been wanting or when that one girl you had a crush on came out of nowhere and accidentally knocked over your textbooks and didn't bother to look back and apologize but you thought it was a magic moment? I felt that tingle hearing this new track by Paper Diamond. More tingles please.

PS: Kudos to Paper Diamond for being a part of the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Soundtrack.

indie rock n roll :: STSL

at first glance, kind of looks like a long abbreviation for St. Louis right? Well no, these are great guys, and the abbreviation is for "STILL THE SKY's LIMIT"

They need your help, and your help is in the form of a vote. And voting happens through a text message. Simple!

No Starch Needed::

A little Bot'ox gets those wrinkles away and gives Toxic's Never Stop track a brand new face. But really, I'd like to take this time to compliment those who use Botox. In society, we learn by example. So today, let's learn that Botox is short for Botulinum toxin, which is one of the most lethal toxic substances known to Man. But I suppose it's okay, because it's in small doses and your chain smoking or reckless driving will certainly kill you first. So here's the compliment: You guys are very much appreciated. You are society's guinea pig. Inject away. Wither away, wrinkle free. But, Bot'ox never hurt the ears. So, give me some.

Dude...Swede::

Sweden doesn't get enough attention. But I can sense it's blossoming. Avicii, and Sebastian Ingrosso grouping into Swedish House Mafia, is giving Sweden something more than just meatballs, vodka and cellphones. The electronic music scene is booming and here's another tally for you: Alesso...Välkommen.

Reach Out & Touch Gold::

Experience Thomas Gold at this coming EDC in Las Vegas. Be sure to bring a backpack full of water because the Nevada desert isn't the only source of heat that's going to plague the weekend. Mr. Gold has remixed numerous ace tracks and it'll be suspenseful to hear what he has to offer for the carnival.

Teamwork::

Fistful of Silence comes to you today from the dnb/hip hop clan known as The Glitch Mob. I remember when Kanye West sampled Daft Punk's Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and the combo sounds were pleasing, even when they performed together at the Grammys. The Glitch Mob should team up with a high fly act like Dr. Dre or Kid Cudi and create something grand. Of course Dre is an auteur when it comes to beats, so Glitch Mob, make good friends with that guy.

1992, Where Were You::

Days are closing in for Las Vegas' Electric Daisy Carnival and hot on the list of performers is Los Angeles' own LA Riots contributing their breed of electro, techno and house fused into indie and dance music. How amazing is it to start from zero to hero in a matter of months. Let's remember the LA Riots...um, the band, not the anarchy.

Class of 2011::

Back to electropunk with the up-and-comers, Waxdolls. It's amazing how time flies and you realize how much you've accomplish - or if you're a big-ugly-man you've accomplished zilch. This original mix is for all the high school grads who will Step-down and relinquish their golden position as Seniors and let the underdog Juniors attain a chance to ditch classes, grow in laziness...and for that one wallflower: Step out of your shell and date the thunder-thighs cheerleader you've been lusting after.
