Hurricane, With Style::

Sometimes I stop and hear the roses. They sound so mellow. To boost that sound, to give those elegant blooms some color, I'll creep up like an innocent caterpillar, close in on those beautiful young buds...and blow 350 watts of Foxtrot.

Muzak's Alter Ego::

I am wondering what individual would allow such right-side-up synchronization as Jack Beat's Elevator Music to be wafted through those crackled soggy ceiling speakers, bolting down into the eardrums or 'Ol Mr. Duncan and his lil' grandson Miles, as they snail upwards to their fourteenth floor apartment after a hard day's night of binge eating and raw hedonism.

C'mon, put those hands up.

How Low Can You Go::

Fans of the DnB pioneering days can remember the establishment of this brand of electronic music through the Brit rave scene. The deejays sampled a flavor of the reggae subgenre of raggamuffin and incorporated it into their creations on stage. Now-a-days, techniques and innovation of the fast-tempo'd soundscape have become exponentially viral and Noise & Phace have contributed to the art of the heavy basslines with Program.

Tick, Tock of the Croc::

Back spinning right round like a record is Bassnectar's remix to the Bangles' one-hit-wonder track Walk Like An Egyptian. I remember when I used to say the 80s were so long ago. Now-a-days, the oughts? seem so long ago. Next thing you know the oldies stations will be rumbling Timestretch next to Time of the Season.

Come'On::

Looks like the Masai have found a fit supply of e on the Serengeti...Douster has befriended famed disc-turner Diplo to establish this new creation called ON! Enhanced with tribal ambience and warped sound effects, Douster adds a cultural crossbreed to Diplo's known ultra-sonic highlights of electronica. Rumor has it, if you bring a photo of a Masai warrior to the club when the deejay ruptures this tune on, you get a free drink.

Girls' Assets, Guys' Debts::

This is dedicated to all those hotties with bodies who go that extra mile to cross the velvet rope, go up those steps and undulate the t-n-a adjacent the night's deejay. Presenting '96 Bulls' remix of Dancing with the DJ.

Zap...Robot::

I had a dream where I was injected with a spinal tap and inside the syringe that pierced my epidermis what jelly of a chaotic electro track by some artist - I'm not able to recollect offhand. So let's just say it was this: Porter Robinson's The Wildcat. So the dream continues as I'm being injected and suddenly I'm able to gaze at individuals on the street, in the office, at the gym, and force them to dance any dance I wish them to partake. Girl, tap your heels three times....nice.

Whew::

I am enjoying this lite indie dub production, teeming with an ambivalence of innocence and salaciousness, absorbing your inner urges to rise to the surface and emote those feelings through head nods and swaying, or maybe lip biting and a tongue caress.

51-50

Another fresh re-edit from the hard workin DiscoSyndicate over on soundcloud. It's always nice to escape sometimes and revisit some of the old one hit wonders of the 80s.

Another note, a serious thanks goes out to all the service men and women who have sacrificed themselves in the line of duty. And to those who are still with us today, Thank you very much!

Side A::

One of my favorite Sebatians in the electronica scene is Sébastien Tellier. He puts forth a great amount of soul and vivacity into his creations and other deejays admire this trait enough to want to create outstanding remixes such as this A-Trak reconstruction.
